The New Gloucester Bible Church was founded in 1837 as the 

White's Corner Baptist Church. In July of 1959 we became 

affiliated with Village Missions, when we became known as New 

Gloucester Bible Church. Village Missions is a Christ-centered 

faith missionary fellowship, ministering to the spiritual needs 

of mostly rural communities of North America. It is evangelical 

in concept, and evangelistic in approach.

  The purpose of Village Missions is to provide full time, 

qualified, spiritual leadership where there exists a definite 

need to win and disciple people to Jesus Christ through the 

proclamation and demonstration of the Gospel. 

  The New Gloucester Bible Church is now a self-supported church.
