1. Scripture We believe in the plenary [full/ complete/entire/absolute]
and verbal and inerrant inspiration of the Old and New Testament
Scriptures, and that they are supreme and final authority in faith,
doctrine and life. (Deut. 8:8; Job 23:12; Ps 119:11; Rom 10:17;
II Tim 3:16-17; Heb. 4:12; II Pet. 1:20-21)
2. Trinity We Believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons;
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Deut. 6:4; Deut. 33:27; Ps 90:2;
Isa. 9:6; Jer. 10:10; Hab. 1:12; Mt. 28:19; Jn 1:1; Rom. 1:20;
Acts 5:3-4; Heb. 9:14)
3. Christ We believe that Jesus Christ was begotten by the Holy Spirit
and born of the Virgin Mary, and is true God and true Man. He is
the only and sufficient mediator between God and man. (Isa. 7:14;
Mt. 1:20-23; Lk. 1:34-35; Jn. 1:14; Jn. 20:28; Col. 2:8-9;
I Tim. 2:5; Heb 4:14-15; Heb. 7:25; I Jn. 5:20)
4. Satan We believe Satan and other evil spirit beings are distinct
personalities and that they are enemies of God, of the saints, and
of the holy angels. (Job 2:1-10; Isa. 14:12-15; Dan 10:13;
Mt. 13:38-39; Jn. 8:44; II Cor. 4:3-4; Eph. 6:11-12,16;
I Thes. 2:18; II Tim. 2:26; I Pet. 5:8; Rev. 12:7-9)
5. Depravity of Fallen Mankind We believe that man was created in the
image of God, that he sinned, and thereby incurred not only
physical death, but also, spiritual death; that all human beings
are born with a sinful nature and incapable of pleasing God. They
are culpable sinners, utterly lost; and that only through
regeneration by the Holy Spirit, can salvation and spiritual life
be obtained. (Gen. 1:27-27; Gen. 2:16-17; Gen. 3:6; Gen. 3:17-19;
Ps.51:5; Isa. 59:2; Isa. 64:6; Jn. 3:3; Jn. 3:5-8; Rom. 3:23;
Rom. 5:12; Rom. 6:23; Rom 7:18; Rom. 8:7-8; Eph. 2:1-3,5;
Gal. 3:11; Heb. 11:6)
6. Salvation We believe taht the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins
according to the Scriptures, as representative and substitutionary
sacrifice, and that no other manner of redemption is possible, and
all who believe in Him are justified on the ground of His shed
blood.(Isa. 53:4-7; Jn. 3:16-17,36; Jn. 14:6; Acts 4:12;
Rom. 3:23-26; Rom. 5:8-9; I Cor. 15:3-4; Eph. 1:7; Heb. 9:22;
I Pet. 2:24; Rev. 1:9; Rev. 5:9)
7. Salvation We believe that all who by faith receive the Lord Jesus
Christ as personal Savior are born again by the Holy Spirit and
thereby become children of God. (Jn. 1:12-13; Rom. 8:14-16;
Rom. 10:9-10,13; Eph. 2:8-9; Titus 3:5; I Pet. 3:18; I Jn. 5:11-13)
8. Ministry of Christ We believe in the resurrection of the crucified
body of our Lord, in His ascension into heaven, and in His personal
bodily presence there for us as Forerunner High Priest and Advocate.
(Mt. 27:35; Mt. 28:5-7;Lk. 24:36-40,51; Acts 1:9-11; Rom. 8:34;
I Cor. 15:20-23; Heb. 2:17; Heb. 4:14-15; Heb. 6:20; Heb. 7:22-25;
I Jn. 2:1)
9. Return of Christ We believe in that blessed hope, the personal,
bodily, visible, premellenial, and imminent return of our glorified
Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. (Mt. 24:42-44; Jn. 14:3;
Jn. 17:16-18; Acts 1:9-11; I Thes. 4:13-18; Titus 2:13; Rev. 1:7;
Rev. 19:11-16; Rev. 20:1-6)
10. The Church We believe that the true Church is composed of all such
persons who, through saving faith in Jesus Christ, have been
regenerated by the Holy Spirit and are thus united together in the
body of Christ, of which He is the head. (Acts 2:1-4;
I Cor 12:13-14; Eph. 1:22-23)
11. Ministry of Church We believe that the Church's sole business, with
no earthly alliances, is to shed the light of the glorious Gospel
of Jesus Christ continously in all the earth, looking for her
Lord's return.(Mt. 28:18-20; Mk. 16:15; Lk 24:27; Acts 1:8;
II Cor. 6:14-17; James 5:7-8)
12. Holy Spirit/Sanctification We believe that the fullness of the Holy
Spirit is received by faith and obedience, and sanctification is
progressive as well as instantaneous, producing daily growth in
grace following the one experience of the new birth. (Jn. 17:15-17;
Acts 5:32; Acts 20:32; Rom. 15:16; Gal. 3:23; Gal. 5:25; Eph. 1:13;
Eph. 3:16; Eph. 4:15-16)
13. Glorification/Damnation We believe that at death all men continue
in conscious existence, awaiting the bodily resurrection of the
just and unjust, the saved to everlasting blessedness and the lost
to everlasting conscious torment. The saved do so in the presence
of the Lord; The lost do so separated from Him.(Dan. 12:2; Lk. 16:19-25;
Lk. 23:43; I Cor. 15:50-55; II Cor. 5:6-8; Phil 1:23; I Thes. 4:16-18;
Rev. 14:10-11; Rev. 20:5-6, 11-15)
14. Ordinance We believe that the Lord's Supper and water Baptism are
ordinances to be observed by the Church during the present age.
They are however, not to be regarded as a means of salvation.
(Mt. 26:26-28; I Cor. 11:23-26; Mt. 3:13-17; Mt. 28: 19-20;
Acts 2:38; Acts 8:36-39)
